ICF Credentialed Mentor Coach

About ICF Group Mentor Coaching Programme

An ideal coaching experience for individuals looking to gain mentoring hours ahead of their ICF credentialing application.

In this 6-session programme, you will meet weekly, in a regular group, to experience mentor coaching which helps you identify and achieve your credentialling competencies as a professional coach.

The ICF defines Mentor Coaching as "...for an ICF Credential consists of coaching and feedback in a collaborative, appreciative and dialogued process based on an observed or recorded coaching session to increase the coach’s capability in coaching, in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies."

Mentor Coaching For ICF Credentialing

Mentor coaching can be an effective way to improve coaching performance. The ICF requires coaches who wish to apply for credentialing status to receive mentor coaching as a method to increase the level of coaching competency.

During the session, the coach works with the mentor coach to identify areas where they need improvement and to develop strategies for addressing these areas. The mentor coach provides feedback on the coach's coaching skills and helps the coach develop a plan for improvement.

Programme Summary

With the guidance and support of your mentor coach, you can become more effective, confident, and successful in your coaching work.

You will meet your group online weekly for 6 weeks. Your coach will conduct the weekly 90-minute sessions, live over Zoom. Groups are small, with only 6 participants or less, which means you receive high-quality attention and personlised coaching while benefiting from peer learning and shared experiences. Sessions are confidential and we ask participants to respect their fellow coaches.
